I have not seen Heart in a very long time (since the 80's). So long in fact that I actually thought I never saw them until I was going through an old picture album recently (after the concert). I was very excited to see them at Humphrey's at one of the only sold out concerts there this year. I was unprepared on how good Ann and Nancy were going to be! They bowled me over with their music. I can't believe that Ann ever sounded as good as she did that night. She also seemed to be having so much fun! It was great to watch.
The crowed did not seem to wake up until they played a Led Zeppelin cover song, which of course, they always play extremely well. I did not recognize any of the other band members, meaning they were all new. They did a new song that Nancy said will be on their new album and it blew me away! On that song, Nancy played an acoustic guitar with a violin bow like a cello while sitting on a stool. I will purchase that CD just for that song!
Can't wait to see Heart again. I don't think I will never miss them again!
